RootData: 32 Web3 VCs Disclosing LPs Raised Over $5.18 Billion in Past Two Years, with Andreessen, Chris Dixon, and Animoca Brands Repeatedly Participating as LPs in Other Funds’ Fundraising
According to an analysis by RootData, since 2022, 32 VCs have disclosed LP information, with total fundraising exceeding $5.18 billion. The top three fundraisers are Haun Ventures ($1.5 billion), Polychain ($750 million), and Dragonfly ($650 million). Participating LPs include renowned institutions and individual investors such as a16z, Marc Andreessen, Chris Dixon, Tiger Global, Temasek, OKX Ventures, KKR, and Sequoia Capital.
There are 17 VCs with fundraising amounts of $50 million or more. Among them, Marc Andreessen and Chris Dixon from a16z, as well as Animoca Brands, have participated as LPs in multiple other funds’ fundraising. These 17 institutions have made 394 investments in the past year, including 97 lead investments.
